This painting is of a clown taking a smoke break while sitting on a box of TNT. I painted this during a very trying time in my life, and I think it may represent a certain recklessness that I experienced while I was facing some very overwhelming grief and stress....

....or maybe it's just a clown smoking while sitting on a box! LOL

This painting was featured in a gallery owned by renowned painter Bill Briggs in downtown Nashville next to the Wildhorse Saloon. Unfortunately Bill decided to close the gallery a couple of years ago. If you ever visit downtown Nashville you can see some of Bill's fabulous murals in establishments all over town.
