John Durant Music Productions
John Durant Music Productions in Nashville, Tennessee is a private digital recording studio where John Durant and his co-writers write, record and produce original songs and instrumental compositions for publishers and for independent release. The studio is not available for hourly studio bookings at this time, but that policy may change as the studio grows. The music at John Durant Music Productions falls into many genres, and the primary goal is to produce high quality songs and recordings that can be pitched to publishers, record labels, and also to production companies in film and TV. Plans are in the works to form a publishing company focused on pitching and licensing the growing catalog of songs and compositions being produced right now. There's also a good possibility that a record label may be formed to handle promotions, bookings, and artist development as business increases. There are currently songs in production for independent release, and announcements will be made as those songs become available. John Durant will be releasing several songs as singles for digital download only, but he is planning to put together a compilation of songs for release on CD. There's a lot of excitement here at John Durant Music Productions as each new song is being written and recorded. Interested in co-writing?
I'm pretty well booked up with co-writing sessions at this time, but I'll consider new co-writing opportunities if I feel that a collaboration may have extraordinary potential. I prefer to work with folks who are very serious about their songwriting craft, and who have an exceptional amount of talent, creativity, and determination to produce great songs. I prefer to write both music and lyrics at the same time, and usually produce the demo (full production/arrangement) during the songwriting sessions. Most of my projects will be pitched to publishers/labels, but in some cases, the songs can be released independently as singles if we decide to take that route. Need a demo recorded? If you're just in need of a producer/studio to help you put a demo together for a song you've already completed, please send me an mp3 of the copyrighted song and I'll evaluate it for a possible demo production.
